Utah: from "Ute" tribe, meaning people of the mountains
Utah is land of monuments, bare rocks rising out of flat land. Utah
has a natural diversity ranging from deserts with sand dunes to pine forests in mountain valleys.
"The best snow on earth" (identifying the dry, powdery texture of snow) is attributed to the low humidity combined the effect of the Great Salt Lake.
My 3 most favorite spots are Lake Powell, Monument Valley and Moab.
